I shared some information in an earlier post about the immune system and some recommended supplements. One of the supplements that I mentioned was a form of colloidal silver. I feel like it would be a good idea for me to share more information about colloidal silver and why I use that so much in my practice and why I have for years.
I’m also going to show you some of the supplements that I use, some different brands, and give you an idea of what they are because I know there are a number of different colloidal silver supplements on the market. They may be great. They may be better than what I haveāor they may not measure up.
In my practice, I use things that have been time-tested and passed the test of time. How I measure that is by recommending a particular supplement for a client who has specific issues and then doing a follow-up to see about progress. I’m only looking for the things that really have a good outcome and where we can be at least relatively certain that the reason the person has made that improvement has been because of that one particular supplement. It’s pretty hard to figure out what’s helping people get better when they’re on a lot of different supplements and start at the same time. What I’ve done over the years is just focus on one supplement at a time for trial and error and that’s how I’ve kind of decided on all of the supplements that I have in my inventory. Especially the ones in my private label.
For starters, my favorite one is the ACS 200. This comes in two sizes: four-ounces and two-ounces. The recommended dosage is 12 pumps a day, which would be six sprays in divided dosages. Sometimes I go higher than that for treating more serious conditions. My former mentor, Dr. Gary Gordon, helped scrutinize and develop this brand. I also know the owner of the company and I’ve worked with him for a long time in promoting this product.
ACS 200 comes in a gel formula and also comes in a nasal spray, which is really good and something that I use for allergies, sinusitis, and chronic nasal conditions.
Another form of colloidal silver I had used before I switched to ACS 200, is Argentyn 23. It comes in 4 and 8-ounce containers. But, as far as I know, this company doesn’t make their colloidal silver in a spray. The ACS 200 is a nanotechnology. The 200 means it has 200 parts per million and that’s supposed to be a better delivery system to really get in your body to where it’s supposed to go. The Argentyn 23 is in a liquid form and you would just kind of swig it. For those of you that are pretty particular, you might want to measure it out into a quarter or 1/2 teaspoonful and take that.
More recently, I’ve been introduced to a Designs for Health supplement called Silvercillin Liquid. It comes in a 16-ounce bottle and a 4-ounce spray. It’s made by one of the very well known and highly regarded professional companies in the industry known as Designs for Health.

As a really important note to the animal lovers, they can also benefit from colloidal silver. I know my daughter’s dogs have had a very common form of ear infections and she’s used the liquid to put in their ear and use it as an ear wash and it’s been effective.
I have to go back to my favorite love, Immune Support Herbs. About 30 years ago at a conference, I met a man named Don Hall. Don had this as his primary product. He gave me some of it to try and it just really helped my immune system. I definitely have a long history of illness. I’m 71 now and I am challenged from time to time because I work really hard and really long. I just swear by this stuff and it’s gotten me by so many really difficult times where otherwise I just know that I would have had to have gone on antibiotics.
This is the list of the ingredients in my Immune Support Herbs.
- Artemisia Ridentata
- Chaparral
- Goldenseal
- Myrrh Gum
- Echinacea
- Pau d’Arco
- Yerba Mansa
- Oregano
- Horehound
- Cayenne
There was a time in my practice because I’ve private labeled this for years, that we called it Firewater because of the cayenne content. It helped to really get that into your system and really helping with circulation. All of that in a base of 35 percent alcohol in aqueous solution.
I hope you find this information helpful and I wish you the very best. I hope you have a really healthy life.
