Digestion is so important in being able to digest your food right and metabolize. It makes a huge difference in your body and the absorption and benefit that you can get from the food you eat.
I know there’s a lot of controversy around the blood type diet but, it really does have merit so I’m all for it.
Sometimes the ability to digest is even more important than what you’re putting in your mouth. There are people out there as skinny as a rail, seemingly healthy as can be, and it’s because they’re digesting whatever they’re eating. But at the 40-year mark, the body starts really minimizing the digestive enzymes that it produces.
Digestive Enzymes let your body get amylase to digest the starch, the protease to digest the protein, and the lipase to break down the fats which is really important. Then from the Digest-Aid you’re getting the bromelain, the papain, the pancreatin, the Ox bile, and hydrochloric acid that’s so important for breaking down that meat to its most finite matter so that you can digest it.
With the blood type diet, I swear by it for people. So many people have done really well and they’ve incorporated that.
I’m always concerned about blood type A people who eat meat. Whether that’s anything really beyond fish or turkey, because they just don’t make the digestive enzyme ever in their lives – not just after 40. It’s their entire lives that they don’t make those digestive enzymes to break down meat. If they do, typically what happens is that they would end up with stomach cancer, intestinal or colon cancer because they’ve never made the enzymes to digest the meat, and that meat just just sits in their gut and rots.
I’m so glad when people decide to try the digestive aids. You can decide whether to take Digest-Aid or Digestive Enzymes or the combination of one of each.
